DOULOS

DOULOS, Grecian for servant, is the pillar that Psi Upsilon Fraternity at Pepperdine University was founded upon. Before social fraternities at Pepperdine University were required to have a national branch, Psi Upsilon was known as Lambda Omega Sigma (L.O.S.). The Lambdas of the day were known as men of servitude, their motto was to serve the greater community of Los Angeles, to serve Malibu, and to serve Pepperdine University. Psi Upsilon today strives to uphold this value of service, with Lambda Sigma the Psi Upsilon branch that pushed nationals into incorporating a fourth pillar of service into their creed. Psi U has won the Pepperdine University Greek Award for Community Service the last 10 years running. In the last semester alone, Psi Upsilon has accumulated over 600 hours of service over 11 different projects.

We work to help those in need, but could not do it without the help of organizations in Los Angeles, Malibu and Pepperdine University. If you have any suggestions or ideas for service projects that we could help with, or if you would like to volunteer with Psi Upsilon, please click on the links above.
